Women In HR


A JHRS advocacy to:
  1. Raise awareness of the contribution of women HR practitioners in organizations in Japan and of their unique opportunity to champion change;
  2. Create professional development opportunities that support the advancement of women HR practitioners; and,
  3. Engage in research and community activities that foster a workplace in which women can fully express their talents and career aspirations.


  • Professional Excellence: Contributing to the dissemination of best practice HRM theory and method; commitment to high ethical standards in all we do.
  • Adapt and Innovate: Translating global best practice into effective HR practice in the Japan environment.
  • Inclusion of all interested parties in community development.
  • Participatory Approaches to learning and problem solving.
  • Commitment to Universal Goal: Advancement of women by advocating practices that foster professional opportunity for women in the workplace in Japan.
