JHRS Mini-Seminar Series

Creating an HPO Culture: What HR Needs to Know and Must Do

by Yoshiharu MATSUI, President, HPO Creation, Inc.

In today's extremely competitive and fast changing economy and business world, increasing organizational capabilities is a must for organizations to survive and remain competitive in the marketplace.

One of today's buzz words in the business environment is 'HPO'. HPO is the acronym for 'High Performance Organization' and many organizations, in both private and public sector, are beginning to implement the strategies associated with creating an HPO into their workplaces. Unfortunately, many reports suggest that around 70% of all organization transformation efforts fail.

HPO might be a relatively new concept but it is rapidly gaining popularity, and HPO building is one of key competencies that HR Development leaders and managers need to build, in order to increase their contributions to business.

Learning Objectives

In this 90-minute mini-seminar, participants will be able to learn the following:

  • What is a "high performance organization"
  • Why do so many organizational changes fail?
  • Key pillars, or elements to become an HPO
  • How HR leaders can build the foundation to help their organizations become an HPO
  • Dos and don’ts

Please join us in this mini-seminar to help strengthen one of the key HR, L&D, and OD capabilities you will need to increase your organizational contributions.
